our hope.

We hope for increased knowledge, resources, improved nutrition, and higher quality food at little to no cost for our neighbors. We want to see beauty and joy infiltrate this place. We anticipate strengthened relationships and a greater sense of pride in this neighborhood. We desire for people to know that they are loved, and for our neighbors to be given a chance to enjoy the fruits of their own labor.

We envision a decrease in crime and an abundance of opportunity for life-giving activity. We aim to heighten awareness of the human connection to creation; to reshape people’s understanding of food and their relationship to it. We hope to see families make lifestyle changes that will ultimately lead to closer alignment with God’s original plan for creation. We want to be responsive to the movement of the Holy Spirit.

We desire to see God’s kingdom advance here on earth, starting with a few seeds, a bit of soil, some water, and the sun.
